This is the cover of the poster book that was released at about the same time as the movie. It contains a lot of pictures from the movie -- including some behind the scenes --and folds out into a really cool large poster. This particular copy was signed by make-up master Tom Savini. (Click here to see the back cover and the inside fold-outs 1 and 2.) |
| This is one of my prized possessions, a check written in 1977 to cover petty cash needs during the filming of Dawn of the Dead. It is signed by director George Romero and producer Richard Rubenstein. (Click here to view back of the check. It has been endorsed [twice, for some reason] by production manager Vince Survinski. | |

This is the somewhat rare role-playing game based on the film and released at about the same time by SPI. It's actually kind of neat as you play any of the heroes from the movie and try to fight you way through the mall. (Click here to see the cover of the rule book, the game board and some game pieces.) |

This is the cover from one of the reels of a super-8 film adaptation of the movie from Germany. It runs about an hour and plays like a Cliff Notes version. The movie is still in English, but every now and then a bit of German slips in. Weird. (Click here to see the cover of the second reel.) |

This is a set of magnets featuring Peter, Stephen, Airport Zombie and Machete Zombie. These hand-made magnets were created by Chris Stavrakis, whose LivingDead.Com website is a favorite. (Jump here to see the set of Night of the Living Dead magnets Chris did for me.) |

The program from Cinema Wasteland 2000 -- featuring the largest gathering of Dawn of the Dead cast members since they made the film -- held in September 2000 outside Cleveland. I was unable to attend, but was able to pick up some memorabilia from the show, including the signed lithograph below. Go to this website to find info about next year's show. |

This the paperback book version of the novel based on the film. |

This is a VHS dupe of the so-called "longest" version of Dawn of the Dead. It is dubbed in German and runs 145 minutes. I know there is a 156 minute version out there somewhere. |

Not only is this an entertaining book, but a great source of information on all of George Romero's films. |
