This is the cover from one of the reels of a super-8 film adaptation of the movie from Germany. It runs about an hour and plays like a Cliff Notes version. The movie is still in English, but every now and then a bit of German slips in. Weird. (Click here to see the cover of the second reel.) |

The program from Cinema Wasteland 2000 -- featuring the largest gathering of Dawn of the Dead cast members since they made the film -- held in September 2000 outside Cleveland. I was unable to attend, but was able to pick up some memorabilia from the show, including the signed lithograph below. Go to this website to find info about next year's show. |

This is a VHS dupe of the so-called "longest" version of Dawn of the Dead. It is dubbed in German and runs 145 minutes. I know there is a 156 minute version out there somewhere. |

Not only is this an entertaining book, but a great source of information on all of George Romero's films. |
