This is the cover of the
German import laserdisc. (Supposedly, the movie is banned in that
country.) It is still sealed, but I couldn't play it even if it was
open. It's in PAL format. (Click here to see the back
cover.) |

This is the US box set

This is the cover of the
Japanese "Perfect
Collection." Another very hard to find item, it contains two
versions of the film: George Romero's director cut and Dario Argento's
European cut. It also contains an interview of Romero taped at his home. |

Another Japanese box set,
called "The Conclusion." This is a three-disc set and contains
the same version that is on Elite's US release (see above), as well
as all the extras included on that LD. The added bonus this time is a
CD featuring music from the film performed by Goblin. It is a well-done
set the has some of the best disc sleeve artwork I have seen on an LD.
(Click through these links to see the back
cover, the CD, and a
collage of the disc
sleeves.) |

This is the cover of a
version released by Republic/Lumiere. This version was only on store shelves for
a day before it was pulled due to legal problems. (Hit this link to see

Yet
another LD release, this one from HBO. It originally included a printed
interview with Romero, but is currently missing. Anyone know where I can
find it? (Click here to see the back
cover.) |
