So, now how to boost Mr. Rice's campaign for the next vote...LET'S GET BUSY!!  Write to the Baseball Writers Association of America (these are the voters!)  Better still, send them this URL!  Make sure they know that you are just a FAN and you're not trying to exert undue influence (not that anyone could)!
