What you have seen on previous pages did not result from the accidental misuse of x-rays...it might be defined as an x-ray reflex in dental practitioners, a stimulus-response which sometimes verges on what we might call Rad Rage, "nobody's telling me how to use x-rays!"

You are looking at a very sick person with a healthy looking sunburn...look at the eye and the ear cartilage outlined through the skin...how did he get that sunburn while working indoors? The sunburn appeared after prolonged x-ray exposures had been aimed at the patient's eyes and head in a dental office. Somewhat upset, the victim described this incident to another dentist, who thought it would be fun to "copycat" the procedure. This time the dentist left his imprint in the patient's retina. By pointing the square x-ray beam directly at the patient's left eye (ref. page: x-ray vision) the dentist produced a square hole causing a square residual image and blind spot. As a detective would say, " The perpetrator was unaware that he had left a print inside the victim."
