Jeanne's pets

Tiger Lilly and Cinnamon.

Here we have Tiger Lilly on the left and Cinnamon on the right being their usual selves "helping" to organize the paperwork.

Initially, Tiger Lilly was simply known as "Tiger", but that was before it came to be known that she's a female! So her name was appropriately modified, and -- voila! Allow us to introduce...Tiger Lilly!

This is Prince.

Prince is their latest adoptee, the newest addition to their family.

As can be seen by the halo and wings, Pince is quite an angel

- in every sense of the word.  :)

This is Killer.

Killer was just a kitten when rescued by Jeanne and her family.

They were out in the mountains celebrating 4th of July several years ago when their German Shepherd at the time all of a sudden started barking and generally just making quite a big deal about something, so the family went to where the dog was to see what all the fuss was about.

What they found was this teeny, tiny ball of fur that had apparently been thrown out and left there by some other individual. This little kitty was just hissing and snarling and clawing at this fully grown huge dog to such an extent that this led them to comment, "Wow, this kitten is quite a killer!"

And the name stuck.

This is Killer and Lady
saying hi to Jeanne's husband.

Killer is a coon cat. Coon cats are distinguished by the tufts of hair on the tips of their ears, as well as the big, bushy tail as you can see in this picture.

Despite the vicious nature of her name, Killer is one of the sweetest and most lovable cats you will ever see.

And this is Killer and Roxy,
celebrating the holidays back in 1983.

Roxy is a feral cat that they have befriended.

On certain occasions Roxy will even allow you to pet her. Sometimes, if you don't pet her enough and you straighten back up as if getting ready to walk away she will reach out and tap you on the leg with her paws to remind you that you're not done yet. Of course, whenever cats reach out with their paws their claws instinctively extend out from their hiding places, causing the individual to immediately take notice as the contact between a cat's claws with human flesh tends to cause a person to give them their undivided attention.
