Yet another handsome canine. Cisco is a seven-and-a-half year-old Black Labrador Retriever, and he loves hanging out at his dad's studio. Most of the time he just sits there off to the side watching his dad work, but every once in a while you'll hear some interesting noises from him, like during those times when he's getting bored. When that happens, his dad takes him out to the backyard so they can go play.

That stuff underneath him is actually cement, although it's so white it almost looks like snow. He is laying on the patio catching some rays, and looking quite regal at it, if I may say so myself. Speaking of snow, his dad would like to take him to the mountains during wintetime so the doggie can get to experience what it feels like to play around in the cold, white, fluffy stuff.

There's an interesting side note about the grass that you can see in the upper-right hand corner of the picture. When Cisco first moved in to the place, there was no grass there yet. Boy, was he in for a treat when he finally walked out one day to find all that greenery ( ... um, er - "light-grayery" to a dog's eyes???) before him, just inviting him to come come hither, roll over, and just generally be one happy dog, which he obligingly did, running around in circles with a big doggie-grin, and doing all sorts of stuff that doggies are wont to do.

Here's another picture of Cisco lounging indoors. One of the things that takes a bit of getting used to when you're a dog and moving in to a new place that has wooden floors (something that humans probably hardly ever think of) is that canine claws don't provide good traction when running on freshly waxed wooden floors, especially when rounding corners, so for a while when Cisco tried doing just that he ends up doing a bit of a Curly-impression....you know, what you see when The Three Stooges are being chased around, and they try to turn a corner and Curly goes "Woo-woo-woo-woo-woo!"
