Subject:  Hi to all my 49er friends and classmates.  My name is Dick Davies and my claim to fame was red hair, freckles and braces on my teeth.  Some of the girls thought I was cute, but I was small and some piece of work. I played water polo and was on the swim team and in my senior year Kelly asked me to come out for varsity basketball, believe it or not.  My braces had come off and I had grown and I could play!  Anyway, my family moved to Hanford (near Fresno), and I finished high school there.  Went to Fresno State, graduated with an engineering degree and that's as far as I'll go at this time.
