Profile
Tom Gass is the
founder and principal of Gass Design, established in
1981. He specializes
in residential, contract, and exhibit design, often
incorporating graphic identity programs and product
design. His work has been frequently published
nationally and internationally in trade and consumer
publications. He has received numerous awards,
including IIDA Outstanding Achievement, 1997 and
Will Ching, FIBD Award, 1997. Tom studied Fine Art
at the College of Art and Design, Detroit, and
graduated from Parsons School of Design, NYC. He
has lectured at Parsons and has served as a guest
critic for the Fashion Institute of Technology,
NYC. He was made a professional member of the
International Interior Design Association in 1993,
for which he was a judge of the IIDA competition,
1995. Tom was also a judge of the 1999 Du Pont
Antron Competition, for which he has won an
unprecedented nine awards, including three Grand
Prizes. |
