Overwhelmed by your trip planning ?  Here you will find information about places and events I have mentioned in the narrative or used to plan my trip.  Perhaps they can be useful to plan your trip.  When you talk with any of these businesses, mentioning my name or this website will not get you any special services; but it is nice to let them know the recommendations are spreading.

Conde Nast Traveler on the Web
Conde Nast Traveler is a magazine with the insiders scoop on the best hotels, best vacations, best planning.  It published a  killer article (July 2000, pg 45-46).  A professional travel writer priced four Hawaiian vacation packages though the web and through a travel agent.  In all  four cases the travel agent got him more, and usually for less money.  And always with much less effort and frustration.  The article not available at their web site, but other good information is there.
