Satan hates humankind because we can still seek repentance and thereby be forgiven our sins. Forgiveness is something that cannot be offered to fallen, heavenly beings. Satan also knows a human woman will bear a child that destroys him forever. Satan also has it in for us because God planned for both species (angels & humans) to worship God, the Creator. That highest of positions was of course coveted bye Lucifer.
All the heavenly beings knew both good and evil. Because of this, those angels who rebelled against God cannot be saved. They knew both sides of the coin when they made their choice. Their destiny is set. However, man was created with only the knowledge of good. Man had to seek out evil. This is an important distinction, and one that allows us to be forgiven, should a Savior come along.
Therefore, Satan wants the antithesis of what God has ordered, and created. He rebels against God and all of His creation. Satan's goal is to steal, lie, and destroy.

The Flood
Lucifer's (Satan) home planet of Rahab is shattered by comets brought
into the solar system by God's will. Arcing between the comet and
Jupiter's moons causes black marks. As the comet passes Mars, which had
also become rebellious, the atmosphere and oceans are sucked away from
planets. Mars' orbit ends up being even further from earth.
