During the 1970's and 80's when I was attempting - with little success - to
make films, I was also using a 3D camera for an occasional scenic view of the
landscapes I passed through as I moved back and forth between the east and west
coasts. These are scans of several of those slides, obviously
sans
3D. I'm still rather fond of these slides, and present them here even though
they are flattened versions. On the other hand, it appears as if they are
starting to fade, so the digitization is one way to help preserve them, despite
losing the wicked 3D effect.
These images have required some serious digital manipulation to get them to a
viewable condition. Because they started on 35mm slide film with an image area
of only about 24 x 18 mm, enlargements of these images are not for sale.
