Baergistic is now exploring an opportunity for an
"Electronic Assembler" to join their growing team.

Title: Electronic Prototype Assembler

Skills: Electronic Assembly, Through-hole soldering, possible SMT/ Surface Mount Soldering, Hand Soldering, IPC-610 Standards or similar certifications a plus, Electronics

Description: Private company in Morganville is looking to outsource Part Time Electronic Assembly.

Qualified candidates must be able to do and have experience with Through-hole soldering, Surface Mount Soldering, and Hand-Soldering.

Candidates will be working on printed circuit boards. Candidates will be soldering kitted electronics board. They will have all parts, board, and rough assembly directions. The board will be delivered back with assembly directions touched up, staged pictures and final unit assembled.

Candidates must have knowledge and or experience with standard components.

For example: Diode orientation, Capacitor polarity, ability to identify pin one on an ic.

This is a work at home opportunity!

Candidates must be able to work independently.

Most of the work will be through email and US mail.

Support will be through email, so a digital camera is strongly recommended.

While the focus is soldering assembly they must possess the willingness to learn.

Required Skills for Electronic Assembler Job:

§                     ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY (Hand placement of parts in provided board)

§                     Hand Soldering (Solder and record the provided parts soldered into the board)

§                     Documentation (Document the steps of assembly)

§                     Pictures (Record a few pictures of assembly)

§                     THROUGH HOLE (Optimally orient the parts in to the board)

§                     Self Inspection (While no testing is required, double check your own work)

§                     Schematics (Assembly may be based off a schematic)

§                     Ability to work Independently (May have to predict assembly times and costs)

§                     Articulation (Issues have to be articulated for resolution)

 

 

 

 

About Baergistic :

Baergistic interfaces with several other larger companies who utilize our staff to optimally help them with their goals. This opportunity is very flexible in payment, and can be negotiated. The baseline for this agreement will be a Non-Disclosure and a 1099. This is only occasional part-time work, and the pay will be commensurate with the work. Stage 1;

Stage 2;

If you only want to email us pictures of previous work, that can  be used for consideration. (*Or jump to stage 3)

Stage 3;

Take an older PC board such as an old telephone board, (small enough for an envelope) or any electronic through hole item from the trash. (We will not judge you on the condition of the board.)

Remove the components and feel free to re-use them for this task. (Final unit will not have to work)

Clean the board, and add in a few of the components to show you skills.

Mail us the final assembly with;

Sample board (Will not be returned)

One to two pages of Assembly instructions of which parts you placed in. (Include tools used)

Three of four pictures of assembly stages. (Start to finish)

Now imagine we provided the rough assembly instructions, and all parts kitted, and tell us what you would want to be paid for this assembly exercise.

*You are welcome to request a sample board, but due to the unknown amount of applicants, we may not be able to respond to each request.
