VLADIX INNOVATIVE SEWAGE TREATMENT PRODUCTS
I. VLADIX SINGLE TANK WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
The Vladix system is the simplest one on the world market today, hence has very low capital, operation and maintenance costs ( see Small Vladix secondary treatment system, Figure 1). The design of wastewater treatment plants in every country has remained basically the same for decades. Promulgation of increasingly strict regulations (coupled with population growth) have brought considerable pressure for expanding/upgrading as well as new wastewater treatment facilities. Typically these pressures are met by engineering firms with "more of the same" kind of treatment plants, rather than taking steps to increase the waste degradation efficiency while simplifying operation and maintenance. As a result, plants are more complicated, expensive, and consume more energy.
The Vladix single tank sewage treatment system provides fundamental improvements in biodegradation efficiency by maintaining optimal conditions for growth and substrate utilization by microbes present in activated sludge. Our complete treatment plant requires substantially less structures and equipment than that of a conventional treatment plant (compare Vladix medium size sewage treatment plant, Figure 2 and Conventional secondary treatment plant with air diffusers, Figure 3). It also requires only a fraction of any "conventional" system operating costs; low operation and maintenance costs are even more important than capital costs, as rising operational costs are constantly haunting both businesses and municipalities.
The Vladix systems utilize both conventional activated sludge process, as well as extended aeration, but has features that are not available in other activated sludge systems on the market:
A single structure provides complete
secondary treatment and consists of 1 aeration chamber, 2 secondary settling
chambers connected in series (Figure
1). Second step provides additional improvement of the first
step settling effluent, hence allows to operate Vladix systems at high
MLSS concentrations.
High sludge concentration provides
a very good buffering effect in case of shock loadings with toxic compounds
and/or wastes of high BOD concentration.
Instead of compressors, piping,
diffusers and associated operation and maintenance problems, mixing and
aeration in both our activated sludge treatment tank, aerobic digester,
and equalization tank are done by our unique, maintenance free mechanical
aerator aspirators that can maintain a very high activated sludge concentration.
It is reliable, sturdy, yet can be easily pulled up for maintenance, if
needed.
We can substantially improve many treatment plants just by replacing
their old compressed air systems with our Vladix aerator aspirators.
Instead of recirculation pumps,
piping, pump stations, and associated operation and maintenance problems,
sludge from both sedimentation sections recirculates back into the aeration
chamber with no pumps involved. The same arrangement (no pumps) is
true for moving liquid from any two or more VLADIX modules (say, excess sludge from a treatment system to an aerobic sludge digester, and supernatant back to the treatment unit, etc.) (A flow diagram between two VLADIX modules, Figure 4). All that recycling is done by our aerator aspirators,
in addition to the mixing and aeration they provide. In essence, our aerator
is the heart of our system, and is the only moving piece of equipment in
our system.II. VLADIX MECHANICAL / SUBMERSIBLE AERATOR ASPIRATORS
We design and manufacture our own Vladix mechanical aerator aspirators for various capacities and applications: in mining industry for ore and mineral beneficiation, upgrading lagoons, aerobic digesters, equalization tanks, and replacing existing diffused air aeration systems.
Some advantages of our aerators: they provide very effective mixing and aeration, they are portable, and require very little maintenance.
We can upgrade many wastewater treatment systems just by replacing their old aeration systems with our Vladix aerators.
Our aerator is also a key component of our own innovative wastewater treatment systems and related structures: our own equalization tanks and aerobic sludge digesters. We can provide aerators for capacities from 0.5 hp to 125 hp.

III. VLADIX EQUALIZATION / PRETREATMENT TANKS
Vladix equalization tanks are designed in the same innovative manner as our treatment modules (Figure 1). This allows us to use it either for equalization, and / or aerated primary settling, or for treatment, or sludge digester. As a result it gives unprecedented flexibility to any Vladix treatment plant (Figure 4).
IV. VLADIX HIGH-EFFICIENCY AEROBIC DIGESTERS
Vladix aerobic digesters are designed in the same innovative manner as our treatment modules (Figure 1). This provides supernatant with much lower SS concentration than that in conventional systems . This also allows us to use it either for equalization, and / or aerated primary settling, or for treatment. As a result it gives unprecedented flexibility to any Vladix treatment plant (Figure 4).
V. VLADIX SLUDGE THICKENING
Another novel feature of our system allows us to thicken sludge within the treatment unit, if needed.
VI. OTHER VLADIX TECHNOLOGIES: UNIQUE PIPE COATING TECHNOLOGY
