your
vintage camper is probably a good idea, but not required by most
states. I have heard from many people that a lot of insurance
companies will not insure a vintage camper. But, if you check
around you can find an insurance company that will insure your vintage
camper. The price may be high, but checking different companies, you
can get a reasonable rate with good coverage, Below is from David
:
Insuring your Scotty for a fair value from David Turner: "We have our Scotty insured through Foremost insurance, which is an AARP insurance group (1-800-237-2060) at a rate of $100.62 per year. INSURANCE
IDEAS
TO THINK ABOUT BEFORE TALKING TO
A COMPANY
1. A good idea would be to determine what type and amount of insurance you want or need.(Refer to David's insurance coverage above) 2. It is a good idea to have many pictures of the camper and other items. 3. Pictures can show the condition of the vintage camper and things you have repaired or updated. 4. Pictures of items you installed or updated, as well receipts for prices of these items, as well other things you spent money on. 5. These things and others will help you determine the insurance you need and get a fair price and coverage for your vintage camper. ________________________________________________
