N6578V is a 1970 Turbo Viking owned by Jim Gryder
Jim writes; "I purchased 78V from Springer Jones in Cody, WY three years ago. It now has 2424 hours on it, with 1400 on a new engine. It is full IFR with a Century III autopilot. This is the second Viking I have owned and truly enjoy flying them. I have had this bird in 15 states and it never takes long to get to our destination."
"My home airport is 13K at Eureka, Kansas. I use 78V in my business travels. My wife Joan and I have a son in Granbury, TX, a daughter in Frisco, TX and a son in Minneapolis, MN. Of course the Viking makes long trips to see the kids a heck of a lot faster than driving, which we detest doing anymore! If there is any way to use 78V, that is the way we travel. I still just about have to sit on my hands to keep from doing a roll now and then. The Bellanca Vikings are so responsive, that they are truly a joy to fly."
