Mike Carr writes: "My aircraft is a 1972 Continental powered BSV. I purchased it from Screaming Eagle in Santa Paula in January 1999. The previous owner was Rob Harrison. I was attracted to the Super Viking for several reasons. Awesome climb performance, 1125 lb. useful load, avionics package and handcraftsmanship. I used the aircraft to regularly fly to Yuma & Williams Gateway AZ during various McDonnell Douglas & Boeing flight test programs for which I was the cognizant flight test engineer in charge of Flight Management Systems (FMS).
The Bellanca Super Viking is a competent, respectable cross country IFR platform. Although it's system-wise complex, It is manageable and comfortable to fly. Hope to see you at Columbia, Ca. next year!"
