Lee writes: "N9996V is a 1971 17-30A based at its own private airstrip about ten miles east of Tulia, TX. 9996V was purchased in May 1991 from Millers on a trade of a Cherokee 235. There is no comparison, the Cherokee might break ground quicker but after that it's all over! I've flown 96V over 600 hours and the Viking has around 2400 hours total time on a mid-time factory engine."
