Past Projects:

videowashdc.org Project #01:  Shelved - my knowledgble contact within the library says is would probably be easier to implement if I were a certified D.C. Government Contractor - Justin

Videowashdc.org Talking Point #01:
Abstract: Establish a dialogue between the District of Columbia Public Library personnel, Governments (local, state and national components,) educational institutions and the public. The overall goal is to establish processes and a nurturing environment that these entities may have interactive discussion on possible ways to produce, to create and to distribute information on events, institutions and public services

Videowashdc.org Talking Point #02:
Cooperative recording and distribution of programs held at Public Libraries
The Public Libraries changing role to collect, inform and distribute information:

Abstract: The public library system hosts programs of interest open to the public sponsored by a library or library system or hosted by the same.  Non-commercial group and educational are groups allowed to use public library meeting areas for programs and activities are open to the public. This talking point is to identify, discuss and create processes and authorizations to allow and encourage libraries, government and public to work cooperatively to record and distribute images and or sound of events held using library resources or facilities. Multi-media distribution of recorded events may be on the Internet, tape, CD, DVD or other formats and media. Local and federal governments and public access community television centers record and distribute content of programs

videowashdc.org  Project #03: FOSE 2006

Project #3: NOTE 01: Tech Fair and FOSE cover similar elements - visit Talking Points
Project #3: NOTE 02: When all relavant facts were made known - the space was contracted for by the coalision of vendors and for that reason TUX was not allowed a table presence in the event.
There was an Open Source Software presence or table with representives or advocates. On the TUX FOSE e-list there was dissatisfation that Linux O/S did not have a presence
per se, but that the Open Source persons may include Linux and the various distributions as subjects under GPL Open Source.

Abstract: Cover FOSE 2006 show at Verizon Center (MCI Center) on 7th through 9th March 2006
Abstract: Congressional Tech Fair - 08-Feb-2006. Capital Hill
