Orion Acres is located on the Cumberland Plateau at 2318 ft. above sea level. Owner is Victor Rogers, 30 year astronomer and active member of the Barnard Astronomical Society in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dark Skies for astronomical observing is its purpose. with 60 total acres the observing field is about 1-1/2 acres. I hope to provide past and present activities for Orion Acres on this website **NOW UNDER CONSTRUCTION**

There will be a star party Saturday November 10th. time will be from 5:30 pm. don't miss Comet Holmes which is now naked eye brightness. you will be required to sign a 1-time waiver if you have not done so. outdoor restroom facilities only!! dark skies available to everyone. ALL ASTROPHOTOS BY VIC ROGERS UNLESS OTHERWISE CREDITED.
