Vencon Management, Inc. is a pioneer in microfinance and related activities.

In the early 1970's, Vencon worked with local entrepreneurs in lower income areas and established numerous micro finance businesses in Austin, Texas, San Antonio, Texas, Los Angeles, California and other areas. Improving the economies of the inner city and lower income neighborhoods has been an important mission of Vencon.

Throughout the 1970's, Vencon undertook its activities with Native American entrepreneurs, on reservations and off reservations. As microfinance developed into a global thrust in the 1980's, Vencon has continued its activities with respect to furthering technology-related sectors as a business consideration for the world's entrepreneurs.

Vencon Management, Inc. believes that the economic and social needs of the world's peoples could be substantially improved by the spread of entrepreneurism. Traditionally, lower income entrepreneurism has been associated with the establishment of craft and repair type businesses. Technology transfer in accordance with the present skill level of lower income entrepreneurs will increase the formation of new businesses with prospects for growth exceeding the limitations of craft type industries. Concurrent with growth is the resultant increase in meaningful employment and higher individual income to enable affordable life styles.
