Nashville [Music City] Tennessee

Nashville, the home of country music was settled on the banks of the Cumberland River in 1779. In the past 50 years, Nashville has more than doubled in size. It is a tourism, convention city, with the main focus on music. Nashville is known as "The Athens of the South" because of it's reproduction of the Pathenon and the many universities. The newly completed Arena, with arena football, proposed hockey games, and special appearances and concerts will add much to the Music City Scene along with the arrival of the Tennessee Titans, Nashville is coming in to it's own, with happenings for almost any interest.
