"Blimey"
was purchased in 1989 and under went a ground up restoration, which finished in
1998. From there "Blimey" has been my daily driver. At some point I'll
post her specs. Blimey touts a 1380 cc custom built engine
by National Champion Huffaker Racing in Petaluma California. The Square Cut
Transmission was built former National Champion, Fortech Racing, by Mike Kearney. For a Mini,
Blimey is quite fast. Now I just have to work on the brakes.
The body has been de-seamed and fenders slightly flared. The paint Motif is
from the same year, 1965, Monte Carlo Champion Rally Car.
As with all British machines, it's time once again for a little work on
her... better get going.
Thanks to BMW for bringing back the MINI !!
