I took this photograph in 1998. It is the old border inspection station on the New Brunswick, Canada - Houlton, Maine border that was once the beginning of US 2. The current alignment of US 2 can be seen in the background above where the old road disappears into the embankment. Behind me, the road also disappears into an embankment. The border crossing is now just north of here (on my right) on I-95.
