To Our Memory Page

In this day of television, computers and such media monsters, people do not sit around in the evening telling tales of past happenings like they used to. In our younger years, this was our evening's entertainment, to play games, talk, and recount memories. This doesn't happen as a rule now.

So I'm taking this way to do this for our children and grandchildren. As you might have guessed, they are the center of our world. Since most of my writing is made up of memories, I'm trying to incorporate them here. Some are fictionalized accounts of real happenings, some are just family memories. The children will know the difference. The rest of you just might enjoy a good read.

These pages are under serious, long-lasting construction. I apologize in advance for links which may go nowhere. I will be adding to this page, as time permits, extensively. Keep in mind that our histories are a long time in the making. Searching our roots and the recording of memories sometimes seem to take even longer. These tales are from our memory. Some have been told to me; some I overheard when I wasn't supposed to be listening. I wish someone could have done this for me. Besides, it's a fun thing to do!
