RangerXLT.com is a personal website devoted to the "RestoMod" of my new truck, a 1972 Ford F-100 Ranger  XLT.


Project Truck.

360 CID FE, C6 Trans. 3.50:1 open rear end.

Engine: Crane 802 cam kit, Crane Valve springs, Crane adjustable rockers, Crane pushrods. Crane Points to electronic conversion. Jet hot coated Hooker headers, Jet hot coated dual exhaust with Dyno Max Ultra flows. Holley 750 CFM Vacuum secondary electric choke carburetor. On OEM “S” four barrel manifold.

Transmission, Overhauled with TCI full kit, TCI Saturday Night Special Converter, TCI Alum deep pan.

New tires (5 Goodyear Wrangler) and new Hubcaps. (Up to 70 style.)

New reproduction battery, correct PS hoses, heater core……………

Interior is blue and presentable.

Exterior needs paint, has minor rust, but I have not found any thing major. I cannot find any old frame or crash damage.

Chrome blade rear bumper and Draw Tite hitch is not shown in photograph.

This is a straight and solid truck. It is an excellent basis for a restoration.
