FREE UTILITIES

Brodhead Music Typography also offers five utilities free of charge:

• NAMELIST—a program that creates a print list for use with Scorlas
• RE-NAME—a program that creates a Score macro that will rename any sequence of consecutively-named Score files
• SAVE-AS—a program that creates a Score macro that will save a template file to a consecutive sequence of filenames
• COMBINE—a program that creates a Score macro that will combine sequences of tiled Score files into single files
• PMXCLEAN—a program that "cleans" PMX files—for example:

  8. 1.0 .000 .00 .75
  3. 1.0 1.500
  1. 1.0 13.500 4.00 12.00 .00 .7500 .00 11.00
  t 1. 13.500 15.000 1.000 1.000 .000 .000 .000 .000 .000
  _00Hello, World!
  

  ...can be "cleaned" to look like this:

  8 1 0 0 .75
  3 1 1.5
  1 1 13.5 4 12 0 .75 0 11
  t 1 13.5 15 1 1 0 0 0 0 0
  _00Hello, World!
  

  ...which is much easier to read, and can be posted in an e-mail without the problem of line-wrapping, which can destroy the integrity of the PMX code.
