Core of M31 The Andromeda Galaxy-120mm Orion Refractor/MX5C ccdcamera @ f5; Composite image- 65 min luminance(5X13) and 5 min. color frame;09/2004 North Canton, Ohio
Notes:
DDP, Lucy-Richardson and maximum entropy image enhancements applied. A lot of detail can be seen in the dark lanes on the great galaxy leading up into the bright core. The galaxy is so large relative to the image area that only the central core is seen  without the bluish spiral arms. The home made equatorial mount was used.
