M17 The Omega Nebula in Sagittarius-C8/ST237 ccd camera @ f3.75 LRGB image 30:10:10:10 min. exposures; 07/2003 North Canton, Ohio Notes: This beautiful and convoluted nebular region in the summer southern sky was shot through major light pollution with a sky limiting magnitude of only about 3.0. This area is thought to be at a distance of 5700 light years. Mild DDP and R-L deconvolution applied.
