The Northwest Stars of the Pleiades-6 inch home made Newtonian/MX5C color ccd camera @ f5; composite
of 17 min. luminance(13x1 min. plus 1x4 min.exposures) and 1 min. color exposure; 09/2003 North Canton,
Ohio Notes: The stars in the image are called (CW from upper right) Asterope(twin stars), Taygeta
and Maia. They are three of the seven sisters. Faint nebulosity can be seen here surrounding the star
Maia but longer exposure and higher altitude from the horizon would be needed to show it well. DDP was
used to bring out the faint detail. The mount here is the home made equatorial.
