Galaxy pair M65and M66 in Leo-3.2 inch f5 achromatic refractor/ST237 ccd camera; LRGB image 16:10:10:10
min. exposures; Infra-red blocking filter in optic train; Phoenix, AZ 04/2002 Note: These galaxies
make a striking pair in a short focus wide field telescope. They are 9.3 and 9.0 magnitude visually.
The telescope here is an inexpensive doublet lens type and with CCD some detail in the galaxy spirals
is visible even with so small an aperture.
