Whirlpool Galaxy M51 in Canes Venatici-C8/ST237 ccd camera @ f3.75; LRGB image 50:10:10:10 min. exposures; 05/2003  North Canton, Ohio Notes: The beautiful "Whirlpool" NGC5194 and its' irregular companion galaxy NGC5195 designated as M51 by Messier are about 15 million light years distant. This image  was "first light" for the new observatory in May of 2003. DDP  and R-L deconvolution enhancements were applied
