North Canton, Ohio Notes: This great emission nebula gained fame when imaged by the Hubble Space
Telescope to reveal in stunning detail the star forming regions called the "Pillars of Creation". The
pillars, visible at the center here and pointing to the upper right, are clouds of hydrogen gas and dust.
