Directions:
There and Back Again

Umm, we're that state between Arizona and Texas (you can leave the passport at home).

Air Travel:
Unless you have a private plane, fly into Albuquerque and rent a car or make arrangements with another GITA attendee. Drive time from Albuquerque to Santa Fe is ~ 1 hour. If you have a private plane, congratulations - there are regional airports in Santa Fe, Los Alamos and Taos. But, you'll still need a car to get to the trailhead 8*).

Driving Directions:
To Friday Ride (Winsor Trail / Santa Fe):
From ABQ, take I-25 North to the St. Francis Dr. exit in Santa Fe. Take St. Francis north to the 2nd Paseo de Peralta. Turn right (east) drive to the big PINK Scottish Temple (Bishop’s Lodge Road). Turn left on Bishop’s Lodge (NM 590). Follow Bishop's Lodge Road about 6 miles to Arroyo Griego Road. Make a left and you're at the Tesuque Village Market. We will meet here and work out the A and B rides.
  alternate route (bypass Santa Fe, faster w/ less traffic): Take I-25 north from Abq., turn off at exit 276B and take 599 north (Santa Fe Bypass). Approx. 13 minutes later take US 84/285 north, and travel 1 mile to the Tesuque exit. Turn right at Tesuque exit, follow road 1+ miles to the Tesuque Village Market.

To Saturday Ride (Los Alamos):
Head north out of Santa Fe on Hwy 84/285 until you get to Hwy 502 in Pojoaque (Poh-wah-kay), which will take you to Los Alamos. Upon approach to L.A., stay left on 502 to go directly into town. Do NOT bear right and take the truck route or take SR 4 to White Rock. Hwy 502 becomes Trinity Drive once in LA. Follow it until you get to the traffic light at Diamond Drive, where you'll turn right, and then immediately left toward Sullivan Field and the Methodist Church. Both A and B rides start at Sullivan Field, across from Los Alamos High School, with pedals turning promptly at 09:30am.

To Sunday Ride (Taos):
Take US 84/285 N north from Santa Fe. (27.5 miles) Stay straight on N. Riverside Dr./NM 68 North. Follow NM-68 north ~45 miles. Meeting time and location TBD. Drive time from Santa Fe to Taos is ~ 1.5 hours.
