is commonly used to apply plastic/resin snaps to cloth diapers and children's clothing.
Dies are made
to apply a specific snap piece. Dies are sold individually or in sets.
Each set will apply a complete snap.
The 3
piece preemie plastic snap die set includes a preemie cap, a
preemie stud and a preemie socket.
3 piece plastic snap die set includes a size 20 cap, size 20
stud and size 20 socket die.
The 4 piece plastic snap die set includes a size 16 cap, size 20 cap,
size 20 stud and size 20 socket die.
The 4 piece metal snap die set includes a size 16 cap, size 16 open
ring, size 16 stud and size 16 socket die.
The
5 piece metal snap die set includes a size 20 cap, size 16
cap, size 16 open ring, size 16 stud and size 16 socket die.
Our plastic
snap die sets will apply both our professional resin and our polyacetal
resin snaps.
Our metal die sets will apply 16 metal snaps. The metal size 20 cap
is to be used with the size 16 studs and sockets.
*The term "plastic snap" is used on
this page in reference to both the plastic and polyacetal resin
(aka nylon) snaps. The dies used to apply the plastic snaps are
to be used to apply both plastic and resin snaps. No special
die set is necessary to apply the new polyacetal resin snaps. Please note that 3/8" dies are only available by special request. Make a note in the box upon checkout.
