Production Notes:

Meet Betty Carter was Betty's first recording as a headliner.  The cuts were recorded in May, 1955.  It was originally released on Epic (Epic 3202) as Meet Betty Carter and Ray Bryant.  In recent times, rereleases have combined these cuts with apparently previously unreleased cuts recorded in 1956 under the title Social Call (or sometimes Meet Betty Carter/Social Call).
The 1995 Collectables Jazz Classics album Meet Betty Carter and Ray Bryant/Ray Bryant Trio Little Suzie (COL-5676) combines the original Meet Betty Carter and Ray Bryant with a Ray Bryant Trio album titled Little Susie.
Songs marked with an * are instrumental only, and were added to the 6 original 1955 recordings to make the originally released Meet Betty Carter and Ray Bryant.
