Getting ready to yank the '69 body off, making way for the split |
Just ready to pull the '69 pan out and stick the donor pan under
my old ride. |

|
The lash up for raising and lowering bodies, Rube would be proud.
Made it easy to lift up and down to fit the '51 body mounts to the IRS
pan. |
This worked surprisingly well, the 2x4 had to be under the package
tray on the old body. |
|
|
What a day, this was a huge milestone! |

The front quarters are done and ready for the next step. The interior
is now ready to do the final sanding prior to paint. And joy of Joys! I
get to seam seal the whole car, there isn't any left in it anywhere. |
Ha, the usual suspects! Lanny, the artist, in the middle, with Gavin
and Darren . Enjoying a cold one after the 2 day thrash on the interior
of the split. This is a couple of coats of "hi-build" primer. Damn close
to the inside getting painted. |
