About Hands-On Education

For over a decade,Hands-On Education has been educating and entertaining children throughout the state of New Jersey. As part of the worldwide Kids on the Block family, Hands-On Education provides elementary schools with programs that promote sensitivity and awareness.In 1998 Hands-On Education was proud to be chosen to take part in the National Effectiveness Survey commissioned by The Kids on the Block National Troupe. The results of that survey highlighted Hands-On Ed. as showing the greatest increase in positive attitudes by third graders who participated in the survey.

Hands-On Education has expanded it's program line-up and is now offering two other educational programs. Future Attitudes geared for grades 5-8 is a participatory curriculum which is offered to schools who would like to incorporate a workshop environment into their pre-existing programs. Stories On Stage geared for grades K-5 provides schools and their students with a theatrical experience that brings literature to life in a unique way.
