Ever wonder what it's like to be a part of The Haunt Factory?

When you sign up to volunteer at The Haunt Factory, you become a select member of the Skeleton Crew.  This is an exceptional position, held by few, and remembered for a lifetime!

The Factory is powered by dedicated volunteer Crew members who all have a common interest in Halloween and putting on a great show.  Sound like fun?  It is!  And there's more!  Additional benefits are listed below.

Pre-season preparations begin the first week of September, for those who enjoy painting and lending a hand to build new special effects and surprises.

Crew Positions:
8-14 crew members needed nightly.  (Preferred placement is taken into consideration by the Foreman, for those with the most time invested.)

Hours and Days of Operation:
(
See calendar and times.)  The Skeleton Crew assembles in the lobby at one half hour before opening.  This allows time for changing into factory shirts, a flashlight check, hardhat distribution, and a quick meeting about position placement for the evening.  It also gives everyone's eyes time to acclimate to the darkness. (We don't want you to go ëbump in the night!')

Where Do I Sign Up?:
Send an email to
The Haunt Factory with your contact information and tell us that you would like to be part of the crew. The sooner the better, as we hold special life safety training sessions early in the season.  Determine your personal schedule and list the nights you would like to spook.  Remember, more nights equal more fun!

Can't Make It?:
If you can not attend on a night you have signed up, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance.  If a crew member is a 'no show', with no alternate arrangements, accumulated factory nights are reduced by two nights.  Each crew member is important to the factory's success!

Dress:
Comfortable, casual dress.  Black or very dark pants and shoes.  The official glow-in-the-dark Haunt Factory T-shirt will be issued to those who appear for three nights or more.  Also, a Skeleton Crew hard hat and flashlight will be provided nightly.

Just a Few of the Benefits:

  • One free ticket is earned for every night worked.
  • Immediate family members can attend The Haunt Factory for half regular ticket price at any time.
  • 'Haunt-Jaunts': For every 4 nights worked at the Factory!
  • For every new person a cast member brings in who works 3 nights or more, that cast member will receive a gift certificate to a local restaurant such as Outback Steakhouse, Chili's, Red Lobster, etc.
  • Mystery bonuses occur on random nights, which may include anything from movie tickets, mall gift certificates, Halloween treats and more.  You never know what or when, so increase your odds by signing up a-plenty!
  • Waffle House nights:  Ask any established crew member about this late-night tradition!
  • Flashlight Tag:  Major fun, when you least expect it.
  • If you notice some Skeleton Crew members wearing Haunt Factory  jean jackets, that means they've been building and scaring for three seasons, usually with a minimum of 15 nights each season!
  • And you'll  find out about even more treats when you sign up!

We always look forward to meeting new 'dead-icated' crew members!
