Paws Up for The Colony Dog Park!!!

Everything is bigger in Texas...except our yards!  Have you ever wished that your dog could run full out for more than a few yards without running into a fence or wall?  Do you want a place for your dog to interact with other dogs while you chat with fellow dog fanciers?  Do you want that opportunity for your dog to exercise without having to spend 30 to 45 minutes driving outside The Colony?

Then you will want to be one of the Friends of The Colony Dog Park!!!  We hope to have separate sections for small and large dogs.  Most dog parks appropriately don't allow treats in the play area as some dogs get "snarky" around food.  We hope to make our dog park special by adding a sub-fenced area for one-on-one training.  Treats, toys and obedience equipment, such as high and broad jumps, will be allowed in this area.

Our Mission

We want to work together to secure community development (4B) funds to create a dog park within The Colony.
