OUR LADY OF THE CROSS MESSAGES FROM SEPT 25, 1993 TO MAY 25, 1994

#200 September 25 1993 12:30 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, in this sinful and broken world there is much mortal sin. People, even Catholics, do commit horrible crimes: abortion, adultery and terrible crimes with the power of money and the cruelty of drugs. But there are also mortal sins of a less spectacular kind: lustful deeds deliberately undertaken and deliberate lustful desires to which this fallen world leads one. Ordinary people sometimes do hateful and cruel deeds. They are surprised at themselves for falling into these things, especially if they stop receiving the Sacrament of Penance regularly, which gives them the power they need to keep from sin. If we have committed mortal sin, Catholic faith teaches that the only ordinary way to escape the tragic separation from Christ that mortal sin means is by a good Confession. Even perfect contrition does not help, if we do not accompany our sorrow by a willingness to do what my Son Jesus requires: to get promptly to Confession, and to confess and receive from my Son Jesus (through His priest) the absolving words of forgiveness. We who have the gift of Catholic faith possess in the Sacrament of Reconciliation a great personal gift of my Son Jesus. This is the best way of coming back to grace, and this is the one way we have to get back to grace, as all Catholic Tradition insists rightly. There are rare exceptions: when Confession is impossible for us, God makes other ways possible. But Confession is the only ordinary way. Those who have sinned mortally after Baptism must go to Confession if they wish to come back to the Lord in the Eucharist. The frequent use of Confession is in many ways the safeguard of love and peace. We must not lose the sense of sin or we will rationalize all our selfishness and wrongness of heart. But it is also true that we must not focus too much on sin or we will become bitter and harsh. What we need to do is to remember our sins in the very sacrament of healing in which my Son Jesus touches us with mercy. Here my Son Jesus teaches us to turn sorrow into love and our own being healed into the forgiving of others. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My dear children, you must know the answer, where there is error in the matter of religion, profess the true faith and live according to it. Where others do not pray, make sure that you pray. Imitate Christ without trying to perform miracles. Be always with my Son Jesus. Do all things for God's greater glory, for the sanctification of your own soul and the sanctification of others. Do all you can for the spiritual renewal of the Church. Be not man-centered but God-centered. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My dear children, I feel sorry for so many men and women today who live as if they had no Father in heaven, no intercessors of whom the greatest is Jesus Christ and no Holy Spirit who is always ready to enlighten, comfort, console, guide and inspire faith and confidence as well as love for God and neighbor. Children most naturally ask for things from their parents and thereby virtually confess their dependence on them. How is it possible for us children of God, especially when we have been adopted by God as sons of God, not to ask for the things which God knows to be good for us for time and for eternity? When this is done in the proper spirit, we realize that in this way is an acknowledgement of our dependence on God and the necessity of being submissive to Him. At the same time it helps us really mean it when we say as Christ taught us "Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My dear children, people on earth are not in a heavenly condition. In heaven nothing distracts angels and saints from living constantly in loving union with God. People on earth must engage in all kinds of work. Some unfortunately lose themselves so much in earthly affairs that they forget to thank God and neglect to ask for his help -- a help so necessary if they want to live good lives. Others become wholly self-reliant and pursue only earthly goals, seeking happiness where they will not find it. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My dear children, Christians too must be intercessors, they must exercise the apostalate of intercession. Those who are ill, those who are unable to say long prayers, can offer their sufferings and intentions of intercession. If they only knew how powerful are the intercessions of those who are weakened by illness, who are as helpless as my Son Jesus when He was nailed to the Cross and there gave the perfect example of intercession in intention, in words, in vicarious satisfaction for the sins of men. Learn from Mother Church, a teacher at all times, what are the principal things for which to pray frequently and habitually. This will at the same time, be a true joy for you. For when done in the right spirit, intercessory prayer is charitable giving, and as my Son Jesus said, "There is more happiness in giving than receiving." I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, God has saved us and has called us to a holy life, not because of any merit of ours but according to His own design: the grace held out to us in Jesus before the world began. You can depend on this, if we have died with Him, we shall also live with Him. If we hold out to the end, we shall also reign with Him. Avoid worldly idle talk, for those who indulge in it become more and more Godless, and the influence of their talk will spread like the plague. There will be terrible times in the last days. Men will be lovers of self and money, proud, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, profane, lovers of pleasure rather than of God. Stay clear of them. The time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but following their own desires, will surround themselves with teachers who tickle their ears. They will stop listening to the truth and will wander off to fables. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, wonderful indeed is the mystery of our faith. As we say in professing it, my Son Jesus was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the spirit, seen by the angels. Jesus preached among the Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up into glory. Train yourselves for the life of piety. For while physical training is to some extent valuable, the discipline of religion is incalculably more so, with its promise of life here and hereafter.

You know the answer with respect to your own behavior and what you would like to suggest to others. Keep up the practice of daily devout, humble, confident prayer. You know how much prayer your particular work permits. You can work prayerfully doing everything for God. Perhaps you can say at least part of the Rosary everyday. Read lives of the Saints, of course. Read meditatively short texts in Holy Scripture, particularly in the New Testament. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#207 October 25, 1993 5:30 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, so I repeat, it is a good thing for you to deal with the subject of the relationships and relations between human beings and the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. But you did well in emphasizing that what God wants is for his rational creatures who dwell upon the earth to come ever nearer to Him. The way for them to do this is through the many means put at their disposal for that purpose, such as prayer, the Sacraments, and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to mention just a few of them. As I said at the beginning, relations existed from all eternity. They exist in absolute perfection in the Holy Trinity. We creatures are necessarily related to our Creator to Whom we owe our natural human life. But God in His unbelievable goodness wants to establish something supernatural, that is above-nature relations and relationships between us human beings and God. In the natural order, all men are related to millions, to billions of things. They are related to sun, moon and stars, to things of earth, to fellowmen, and above all, to God Who wants all to enjoy His presence, His beauty, His life and share in His blessedness forever. What a sad thing it is that so many human beings today want to break off all relations with God and hence with eternal life with God, and make men be content with a short life of relationships with men and with perishable earthly things. What a folly to try to make men enthusiastic about what is limited in time and space! How is it possible that some modern men, supposedly intelligent, reject relations with the supreme value, God, with the Divine Savior, with the Church which is appointed to help people to reach eternal family life with God? They thereby make people content with purely earthly, temporal relations and relationships. When Satan tempted our first parents, he did not propose to them to disobey God and thereby to be satisfied with a merely temporal earthly existence. He told them they would be like gods, something above their nature and something everlasting. Call for the Holy Spirit. What is the best thing we can do in the face of the spread of Godless doctrines as well as the degeneration of religion in several countries and the propagation of errors on all sides? How can we stem the tide of evil and error in the lives of those around us as well as in our own lives? I ask you all to pray, pray, and pray. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, this is the aim of my message: To give a deeper knowledge of my love for you. What I ask: sacrifices, prayer, mortifications, devotion to me your mother, revival and propagation of the Rosary everywhere. Love me with a trusting heart. If you love me, you are in the truth. I need your prayers for the poor souls in purgatory on All Souls Day and everyday. Pray, pray for them. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#209 November 25, 1993 3:15 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, many say they love me, but at best give me only an hour a week, and of these, many attend Mass with minds absent, and many more will not do even that. They think they are Christians. They say they are Christ-followers, but are they? If you had a friend and hardly ever visited him, would you be a friend? I ask my Son Jesus, to save us from our foolishness. We think we are mature, but we are very childish and unthinking. People must help themselves, so that I can help them. They must pray so the inspired words of the Gospel pass from the printed page into their souls. I said, many people are restless for they know not what. They are restless because they do not know me. The soul hungers for me. But people ignore this yearning and then they wonder why they are discontented. Too many are so immersed in the things they can see that the unseen world seems unreal to them. How true! Even a person who says a Rosary a day is looked upon as a religious fanatic. If people possess me, they possess all. It is prayer that brings my blessings. Prayer gives light and grace to humans living sterile, chaotic lives. Prayers put an end to inner confusion and flood the soul with peace. Pray, prayer is the answer. Prayer is the only solution to problems. It always has been. It is today. Look at the lives of my saints. Prayer was the predominant theme in all their lives as it was in mine. I wish to teach you how to pray. I wish to be your support. Keep me close. I wish to hold you in my loving arms. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#210 December 25, 1993 2:25 a.m.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, today is the Solemnity of Christmas. The eyes of our soul see the child laid in the manger. This child being wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. This helpless human child and at the same time, the power which transcends all that man is, all that he can accomplish. For man cannot become like God through his own efforts as history has made clear from the beginning and yet, man can become like God through God's own power. This power is in the Son, the Eternal Word, who "became flesh and dwelt among us." Today is the first day of his sojourn in our midst. He was in the world and was made through Him, yet the world knew Him not. He came to His own home but His own people received Him not. But to all who received, He gave power to become children of God who were born of God. History continues on its way: countless men, women and children, nations, peoples, languages, races, cultures, millions upon millions, yet He is unique, laid now as a child in the manger. "There was no room at the inn," and later upon the Cross. He and none other, and then risen -- He and none other. How many have received Him not? How many still receive Him not? Indeed, He has sent you His word to tell us of them, to tell us that by taking the road we are taking, we are racing towards self-destruction. The world longs for peace yet everyday our brothers and sisters are dying in the present conflicts. They are dying in fratricidal struggles for supremacy: racial, ideological, economic. They are dying because of senseless and reckless courses of action. The world longs for reconciliation, yet everyday thousands of refugees are abandoned and rejected. Ethnic and religious minorities go neglected in their basic needs. Whole groups are kept on the margins of society in ever-growing isolation. The world longs for balance, both within and without, yet everyday the environment becomes more and more polluted for reasons of self-interest or from lack of concern. Brothers and sisters, come to the crib of the helpless Child, Who is the power of God. He is born for us, come... and you will see... and you will be received, for today there has been revealed God's goodness and His love for mankind. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#211 January 25, 1994 8:30 P.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, there is one more good deed he or she must perform before he or she dies. He or she must repent, repent, repent of his or her sins. What follows is a dialogue between Knowledge and Everyman. (1)

Knowledge: Be no more sad but ever rejoice. God sees the living in His throne above. Put on this garment to thy benefit, which is wet with your tears, or else before God you may it miss when you to your journey's end shall come.

Everyman: Gentle Knowledge, what shall you call it?

Knowledge: It is the garment of sorrow from pain it will you borrow. Contrition it is that gets forgiveness.

Contrition is defined by the Church as a sorrow of soul and a hatred of sin with a firm purpose of not sinning in the future. We see, therefore, that true contrition includes three elements: sorrow of soul for having offended God by choosing to do one's will instead of the divine will; detestation of sin because a person realized the evil of refusing to submit to the Creator, thus endangering one's eternal destiny; firm resolution not to commit a particular sin again and avoid what experience teaches would lead to such a sin in the future. The Catholic Church has always taught that contrition is absolutely necessary to obtain forgiveness of sin. Although it is a mystery, it is perfectly understandable. To claim that I love God and yet insist on acting contrary to His will is a contradiction. If I really love God, I want to do what pleases Him. I cannot honestly profess to serve God if I deliberately choose what I know displeases Him. Choose God, choose His will, God keeps telling us. The first preaching of my Son Jesus is described in the words, repent and believe in the Gospel. Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Reconciliation with God therefore requires repentance by the sinner, and repentance is another word for contrition. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#212 February 25, 1994 2:30 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, we must respond to God's conditions to enjoy his promise of Peace in this life and everlasting joy in the life to come. We must want to repent -- we must want to pray -- we must want to forgive -- we must want to be humble -- we must want to be chaste -- we must want to believe -- we must want to trust -- we must want to love even unto death those who may not only love us, but oppose us, persecute us, indeed, even hate us. We must use our free will, that's why we have a free will -- to choose to surrender what we want in order to do what God wants. That in one single declarative sentence is the New Testament -- the new covenant -- the new contract. What is the core of the Fatima message? Love God with your whole heart and you will be happy. Refuse to obey God and you will be unhappy. Sin leads to unhappiness. Doing God's will is a precondition for peace until death and everlasting joy in heaven with God.

Why is it so difficult to love the Fatima message today? Why should I the Blessed Virgin Mary have given you the Fatima message in our century? Why, in this age of world upheaval, is the church going through the most severe crisis in all her centuries of history? Why is it so important in our day to be told by your Mother Mary -- Do what my Son tells you and you will be happy? I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#213 March 25, 1994 2:20 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, to begin with, family life is in jeopardy. More than fifty percent of marriages fail within two years. Many children have only one recognized parent. There is violence almost everywhere among families -- parents murder their children -- children murder their parents. There is child abuse and spouse abuse. To make matters worse there are cults who believe the biblical adage: spare the rod and spoil the child. (2) I ask you to see Proverbs chapter 13, verse 24 for one example is to be taken literally, and so they reverse the saying and children are beaten into submission. Just about every segment of society has finally come to realize that the family is under assault. But no one wants to believe the cause is anything more than natural. But the intensity of these assaults indicates a truly diabolical attack: confuse family members and destroy the backbone of society. It is true that family life as we have known it over the years has changed radically. Violence is the end product of many of these changes. Even within many families with both parents present and caring for and about their children, there is seldom a daily meal wherein everyone is present. Conversation and education are therefore almost impossible. There is so much bickering, anger, and even hatred, at times in the household that it all but destroys family life. In this environment it is impossible for parents to have any significant influence with their children. It is not surprising that as soon as children reach their teens family activities are out for the most part. For all practical purposes the family is disintegrating at a rapid pace. Many things have caused this sad situation to exist; among which we can easily find materialism, greed and selfishness. I am your Mother, The Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, draw more deeply into prayer from the heart. Pray more fervently every day. Forgive and be forgiven. Reconcile and be reconciled. In this way you will come to know and live love. It is love that is the foundation stone for peace, peace of heart, peace within, peace towards others. When you achieve peace and live, then there can be restoration, healing and unity; start, each of you, within your families. Then let this great gift flow forth from you to all people. I am your loving Mother and I am leading all my children home, and those who can believe, and it will be the transformation of your lives that will lead the unbelievers to me so they too can one day be transformed. I ask you again, therefore, to seek holiness, seek God with your whole being, ask the Holy Spirit to help. I will pray for you, all of you, that love may become your whole life. Go now, my dear children and do as I ask. I love you and I thank you for listening to my call. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, do not torment yourselves in mind if you are calumniated, insulted or ridiculed. Think my child of your God, Jesus, Who walked the way of Calvary. He was the King of Kings and He was insulted, beaten, and always on the way to Calvary each passing moment more insulted, beaten, and calumniated than before. I do not say to forget these mockings, ridicule and pains of torment, but rather I say to offer them up unto the Father. It is so now with mankind that you do not wish to endure anything for my Son Jesus Who did everything to save you and Who died on the Cross for you. Always, my children, must you now offer all your pains, sorrows up unto my Son Jesus. Be humble, always act with great love and patience, gentleness and serenity. If you have a great enough love for me and my Son Jesus, you most assuredly will find the way unto the Kingdom. All my beloved children cannot understand the feeling I have for you all, the love I have for you all. I seek to give you many consolations and joys. But the Father demands that in every bed of roses must lie many thorns. The hours you all spend at the holy sites of my appearances on earth, if done in love, will be removed from your stay in the fires of purgatory. St. Michael is ever present beside me and you. Pray your Rosary every time that you find yourself being attacked by Satan, for then I will send Michael to use his sword to defend you all. Pray my children and my child for those in the prisons and concentration camps. Pray for the holy souls in purgatory. I told you in the past that I did not want you to forget them all, because they have been forgotten. You must pray now, my children, and always pray for them. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, since the beginning of time God has spoken through His prophets to aid us on the way to salvation. At Fatima, He has intervened once again to warn us that we have gone astray and to show us how to get back on the road to salvation. First Saturday reparation is a profound yet simple solution to the ills of the world. At its very foundation are the sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion, the Holy Rosary and meditation on the life of my Son Jesus Christ. The thrust of the Fatima secret is not just the promotion of a devotion for its own sake but the encouragement of conversion, reparation, and renewal through the use of these very important and holy elements of our Faith. In Confession and Communion, we receive the grace to be good Christians -- we cannot do it without God's grace. May the power of the Holy Spirit inspire us to help spread the Fatima, Medjugorje and Queen of Heaven messages, so that every Catholic Church in the nation will participate in the observance of the First Saturday devotion. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.
