Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, Satan has sung his victory because he has brought sin into souls and division into families, into society, into nations themselves and between nations. This place has never been so threatened as in your days. You are beginning this new year under the grave threat of a conflict which could become the spark for the outbreak of the terrible third world war. Pray, beloved children, and do penance, because you have now entered into the time of the great chastisement which the Lord will send, and do not let yourselves be seized by fear or discouragement. Have great confidence in the powerful work of intercession and of mediation of your heavenly Mother. The great suffering which awaits you is to prepare you for the birth of the new era which is coming upon the world. Live this new year in my Immaculate Heart. It is the refuge which I have prepared for you for these times burdened with suffering for individuals and for nations, and so, you will not be afraid. Your suffering will increase with the increase of the trial which has already begun. I am the announcement of the new era. In the deep darkness of this your time, if you live with me, you can already glimpse the glimmer of the new times which are awaiting you. Look to this light and live in peace of heart and hope. If you remain always in my Immaculate Heart, my beloved ones and children consecrated to me, even as of these moments you can begin the new era of holiness and of grace, of light and of purity, of love and of peace. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, my heart is afflicted with great pain by the situation in which the Church here finds itself. It is interiorly divided. It is threatened with the loss of the true faith. Many errors are being spread about within it. The cause of this situation is the pastors who are no longer united with the Pope. Their only concern is exclusively directed toward social problems, and they forget that Jesus died on the Cross and rose again to obtain for you the great gift of redemption and to save souls. And thus, the teaching of the theology of liberation, which is a true betrayal of Christ and of His Gospel, is becoming more and more widespread. Bishops and priests of the holy Church of God, return to full union with the Pope. Return to the teaching of the truth which Jesus has revealed to you with courage and fidelity. Preach the Gospel in its integrity and take care of the flock which has been entrusted to you. Schism and apostasy are menacing today the Church which lives in this nation of yours. My heart is pained by the great danger into which your homeland is running, because of the spread of violence and hatred, of evil and of immorality. In the name of a false way of understanding liberty, even the gravest moral disorders are today being permitted and justified. Impurity is exalted and spread about through the social means of communication, and thus a veil of darkness has descended to blind the souls of many of my children. If there is not a general return to the Lord, along the road of conversion and repentance, a great chastisement can quickly strike this country of yours. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

RESISTING TEMPTATIONS

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, as long as we live in this world, we cannot be without tribulation and temptation. Hence, it is written in Job: "The life of man upon earth is a temptation." Therefore, ought everyone to be solicitous about his temptations and to watch in prayer, lest the devil, who never sleeps, but "goeth about seeking whom he may devour" find room to deceive him. No man is so perfect and holy as not to have temptations sometimes. And we cannot be wholly without them. Yet temptations are often very profitable to a man although they be troublesome and grievous for in them a man is humbled and purified. All the saints have passed through many tribulations and temptations and have profited by them, and they who could not support temptations have become reprobates and fallen away. There is no order so holy, nor place so retired, where there are not temptations and adversities. A man is never entirely secure from temptations as long as he lives because you have within you the source of temptation, having been born in concupiscence. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children at Fatima I the Mother of God reminded you that wars are a consequence of sin. As a remedy, I asked first of all for amendment of life --conversion from offending the Lord God, who is already too much offended as is recounted in the Gospel. Graces or favors are not automatically given by God -- we must ask for them. I, your Mother showed you the best way of asking for peace: by praying the daily Rosary. Finally, for the love of God we must repair the damage of sin, our personal sins and the sins of others and of nations, by reparation. I, your Mother revealed two means of reparation. The first is offering sacrifices to God, especially those demanded by fulfilling the daily duties of our state in life. The second, The First Saturday Devotion, makes reparation especially for the sins committed against my Immaculate Heart. Now is the opportune time to familiarize others with my Fatima message and to encourage family and friends to pray the daily Rosary for Peace. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, at Fatima God chose me your Mother as his messenger to remind us of our eternal destiny, to call our attention to the truths of our Faith, and to warn us that we are wandering from the path of salvation. Throughout history God has used as messengers both angels and ordinary men. At Fatima, his messenger was a woman who is higher than the angels, the saints, and all created people. I am the first person after the Blessed Trinity. Should you not be paying strict attention to what I have told you? Fatima calls us to conversion and repentance as does Holy Scripture. Some feel that devotion to me your Mother takes something away from Jesus. From the moment of my "yes" to the angel Gabriel at the Annunciation, I, your Mother have always gently led you to Jesus. At Fatima I came to tell you what Jesus wants. Because of First Saturdays, people all over the world are going to Confession and communion monthly and reciting the Rosary. First Saturdays have led to Eucharistic adoration and Benediction. Can there be a better formula for reparation, conversion and renewal? The time has come for all the faithful to become aware of the validity and necessity of listening to the word of God through your Mother Mary at Fatima and facilitating through its application the establishment of devotion in the world to my Immaculate Heart. This will be the only way to peace. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, Fatima events have been taking place for nearly seventy-five years now. Unfortunately, many have not meditated on Fatima in depth, and without prayer, don't understand the prophecy of these times. Some who speak only of gloom and doom, against which the pope cautioned us, do not encourage priestly and religious vocations. Rather they hinder youth from remaining true to Catholicism and from entering into marriages that are truly holy. Claiming to be an elite kind of Catholic who preserves the past, they hinder others from growing into the future and recognizing the true face of Catholicism. Remember our faith is found in "Good News". If I could, and I know you can, you would shout it from the housetops the world over: "Jesus Christ lives today in his One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church." His priesthood is the greatest vocation, privilege and profound duty on earth. Good Catholic families are miniature mystical bodies. Carry your crosses, confident of the triumph of Jesus Christ over evil. Here in authentic Catholicism you find Jesus Christ in the fullness of true faith. Be happy, rejoice, praise the working of the Holy Spirit through the Fatima message in today's world. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, the emphasis of Fatima on world peace has been so strong that perhaps not enough recognition has been given to the fact that the Fatima message also contains the solution to many other problems which face humanity today, problems which are often closer to home and permeate the society in which we live. You all have seen, in the light of recent events, the beginning of the fulfillment of my promise that Russia would be converted. You also have seen the mercy and kindness of God in the collapse of Communism. Those of you who are devoted to the Fatima message now must feel uplifted and even more confident that your efforts will be rewarded, as I predicted, by the conversion of sinners. The Fatima message is within the reach of every Catholic person. I your Mother Mary have asked you to pray the Rosary every day, to be faithful to your daily duty and to observe the Five First Saturdays of Reparation. This is the remedy for sin. You must see how effective my remedy is. Now that we are witnessing the collapse of Communism and the restoration of the Church in the Soviet Union we must intensify our First Saturday efforts for the salvation of the entire world. When I your Mother ask you to cooperate with me, I am giving you such a precious privilege. You know that God can do all things and doesn't need your help to better the world, but in His kindness and mercy He allows you an opportunity to help Him in His work. Surely this is an opportunity and privilege too good to miss. Let every devotee of Jesus and I your Mother Mary do his or her bit to help bring First Saturdays to every parish in the United States. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

I was told by the angel Gabriel that I had been chosen to be the Mother of God's Son. Through my surrender to God's word, I conceived by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Gabriel had told me your Mother about another work by the Lord: "Know that Elizabeth your kinswoman has conceived a son in her old age. She who was thought to be sterile was in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible with God." I am the Queen, The Mother of God.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, I, your Mother, keep insisting on you saying the Rosary because I am aware of your inconstancy in doing good. I know of your frailty and your needs; and as a mother, I extend my hands to support your faltering steps on the road that leads to salvation: the road of prayer, which is the way to our encounter with God. Consequently, I have taught you to say at the end of each decade, "O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy." It is to be understood that this refers to souls in greater danger of damnation. By insisting on the Rosary I, your Mother, indicate the great need we have of prayer to obtain the grace of peace among nations and peoples in families and homes, and above all, peace of conscience and reconciliation of souls with God. Only divine light, strength and grace, penetrating our hearts and souls, can lead us to sincere and mutual understanding, consideration and assistance. This is also the one means by which a true and lasting peace can be attained among nations, but to achieve this end, we must pray, pray, pray. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, do not be afraid because I am with you even when you think there is no way out and that Satan is in control. Not being afraid means to be deepened in the spiritual life. Many Christians these days live in fear; those who don't know God. That fear is a sign that you are not rooted in God. The deep spiritual life does not exist within you. I, your Mother, once said Satan wants to bring confusion, and if you become easily confused, it means that you have not yet deepened your personal contact with God. When it comes to confusion, you must understand what it means to have love and peace and reconciliation, because it should always be clear to you, that we should love and forgive, but if you don't have the depth of spiritual life, this can happen and this happens very often. [confusion]. You can hear this sentence from many Christians: "I don't love. I don't want to forgive." This is the deep confusion that comes from Satan, because it is not true that you cannot forgive, because God wants to give you the grace to love and forgive. But again, you must pray for that grace, so the feelings that you might have that there is no way out and that Satan is in control, they are false. Satan wins a great deal if he makes you think there is no way out and you remain in sin, because he's the one who gains from the fact that you don't move, that you don't develop the positive things. If Satan wins then you remain destroyed personally and the families and the whole world. This is why I, your Mother, will say again and again -- do not be afraid. I am with you. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, I ask each of you to unite with me as I accompany my Son, Jesus, with His apostles and disciples to Mount Olivet, and talk with them about the Kingdom of God; and to rejoice in Christ's presence and love, and to pray in union with Jesus' friends as they ascend the mountains to hear my Son say, "Go make disciples of all nations." Then I, your Mother, realize my Son, Jesus, must return to His Father. Then I begin to ponder my Son Jesus' words, "Within a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." I begin to kneel to receive my Son's final blessing. Then I watch Him disappear into the clouds as He ascends into heaven. Then I, your Mother, return to Jerusalem to pray and await the fulfillment of my Son's promise. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, on Pentecost Sunday, among the phenomenal occurrences were the great wind, the Holy Spirit's appearance in the form of tongues of fire and the ability of the apostles to be understood by people of various languages. Another was the growth of the Church in spite of bloody persecutions. It is this same Holy Spirit that inspires each of you today with great joy and hope for the Church. We know that in spite of the things that are happening within the Church and the persecution from without, the Holy Spirit is the One Who will preserve the Church from error and keep Her alive and well. Never will the Church succumb to the terrible things that are threatening Her in the world of today. The Holy Spirit of truth will be with Her until the end of time. This was my Son Jesus' parting promise to all of us. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#194 June 8, 1993 9:45 P.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, denial of sin is an offense against God. It is only logical that where the existence of God is ignored, the fact of sin as an offense against God is denied. No other explanation is possible for the massive denial of the rights of God in commanding His creatures to do His will. Abortion is the murder of unborn infants, and therefore the denial of the most basic right of a human being to remain alive. But abortion is mainly the denial of the rights of the Creator to create human souls and keep them united with the body until He calls a person into eternity. But adultery is mainly the denial of the rights of God, Who wants marriage to be the human reflection of His own infinite loving community in the Holy Trinity.

My message at Fatima was that we must repent. Repentance for the sin of denying sin is obedience to the will of God. Whenever we sin, we indulge our own will in opposition to the divine will. To repent we must bend our will to God's will. This is the hardest task we have to do on earth. This kind of repentance by obedience must begin with ourselves. We who have the true faith must merit the graces that others need, to be converted in obedience to the divine majesty. We must give the example to others of what it means to be humble by obeying the will of God in our lives so that others may see our obedience and be converted from their evil ways. We must pay the heavy price of bending the knees of our self-will to the demanding will of God's providence. Why? So that God may be merciful to a sinful world and bring it back to moral sanity. We must teach others by word and example, individually and collectively, that sin is not a figment of the imagination; that sin is the root of all the evils in the world; that wars and suicides, drug addiction and broken hearts and broken minds are really the consequences of sin. We must tell everyone who is willing to listen and even those who are not willing to listen, and even those who are not willing to hear it, that unless they repent, they will all likewise perish. We must restore faith in the justice of God, even as we glorify the love of God in a world that is steeped in self-idolatry. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#195 June 25, 1993 3:45 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, we live today in a secular society. For the most part there is freedom to believe in God and to worship Him, but there is also an attitude that says, "Who cares?" Many people go to church even weekly as a social obligation. Many send their children to religious education, but they merely go through the motions of church membership without ever truly professing the faith. Worldly values confuse them and they frequently fall victim to the many snares of the devil. Lack of faith means that people will not reject programs for themselves or their children that are based on pagan practices, Eastern religions of dubious value and New Age thinking. Anything and everything is viewed as all right if a significant number of people say so. The dangers of mind control and manipulation are not understood and so the dangers that can be inflicted on members of society by them are not perceived either. The faith we speak of here is not merely religious faith. Natural faith as well as supernatural faith is at risk here. Personal faith, community faith and national faith (also called patriotism) are aspects of natural faith. Notice how many factors affect our faith and why there is such a lack of faith in people today, especially in our youth. So many young people do not feel good about themselves. They are constantly bickering with others. They sense no future for themselves, and many turn for answers to drugs, alcohol, and some will give up altogether and commit suicide. There is no personal faith here. Our natural faith is destroyed when a person's word is no longer valid. How many people today consider it of little consequence to be true to their word. With so many aspects of the virtue of faith in disarray it is no wonder that there is a lack of spiritual faith. We must be on guard to counter the things that undermine and destroy faith. Prayer and fasting are, of course, special elements to accomplish these goals. Be sure not to just pray but to make sure all members understand the prayer and the wide range of reasons we pray. Ask the intercession and the help of St. Michael the Archangel. Though this prayer is no longer said after Mass, it was never suppressed as a prayer. I ask you to use the St. Michael prayer often. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#196 July 25, 1993 1:55 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, many sons and daughters have been saved from the power of sin and loss of faith through the perseverance of their parents in the saying of the holy Rosary. When we are living in the Kingdom of Light, in the state of sanctifying grace, we should simply reject all fear and place our confidence in God and also in your Mother, the Mother of God. Again however, there is the difficulty of defining sin in our present age. We have to define sin according to the Gospel and the official teaching of our Church as it has been handed down by the Church's Magisterium, and not define it by the viewpoint of the modern age which has been contaminated. Many people live in sin and have false peace, because their conscience has been formed not by the Gospel, but by the spirit of this age. They may be leading very respectable lives, be law-abiding citizens, and in the estimation of people leading good lives. But if they are not living according to the Ten Commandments, the Gospel, and the moral teaching of the Church, even in just one area that concerns serious sin, they are probably living in the Kingdom of Darkness. The Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Eucharist, as well as all of the sacraments, are very special weapons that my Son, Jesus, gave to His Church to overcome the kingdom of sin and darkness. We need to use these sacraments as Jesus meant them to be used, and have no fear of the enemy. If one has a heavy problem in this regard, I suggest daily Mass and Communion. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#197 August 15, 1993 1:00 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, Jesus founded His Church to be the salt of the earth. Heretofore, and especially today, the influence of the Church in the orientation of scientific knowledge and the arts, in the formation of human mentality and values, in establishing a Godward direction to human habits and even in the spreading of the Gospel, has been reduced to almost absolute zero. The so-called crisis of faith has spread to all quarters of Catholic life and to all peoples, dragging them into the path of eternal damnation, while the heroic efforts of many a Catholic missionary have gained him or her a high place in heaven. It must also be admitted that the apparent failure of the Gospel in replacing the bad habits of men with a Christian conduct, and in eliminating those forces that take great pleasure in legislating against the institution of Jesus, creating an impossibility for the Church to discharge its Christ-given mission among the nations causes us a great concern for the future well-being of mankind. Man can do whatever he wants, but he must pay a price for whatever he does. Legislation worldwide has succeeded in putting an end to Catholic education in many places. This facilitated the destruction of the Christian family in the liberalization of divorce and by legalizing the crime of abortion which carries the penalty of excommunication. The proliferation of pornography as a means to sexual permissiveness, the establishment of a pervasive sex education and the total elimination of almighty God from society are of deep concern. What can one expect but the education of criminals for society at large? We need miracles in our lives. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

#198 August 15, 1993 3:00 A.M.

Note: June 15, 1993, Joseph asked Our Lady if she would take him to Purgatory. Three or four weeks prior to 8-15-93, Our Lady told him it would be soon. Our Lady appeared to Joseph at his home on 8-15-93 at 3:00 A.M. At that time, she took him to purgatory. His observations and Our Lady's comments follow.

Purgatory is an endless area. However, you do not see the people in purgatory. You can see a grey area, dark like ashes, a somewhat very misty area. I can feel the reaction of how the people there are begging and twitching for help. Our Lady said for us as much as we can to pray for them. They need our prayers in purgatory so they can enter the Kingdom of heaven. Our Lady said many thousands of souls enter into purgatory each day and most of them remain for many years. They are here through their own fault because they did not live the Ten Commandments of God. The justice of God keeps a person in purgatory. It's in three different levels depending how severe the punishment is, and many deserve being there in this place of expiation, which means satisfaction, reparation, to atone, to make amends for their sins. Then the soul must go through a purifying stage before one can enter the Kingdom of heaven. My experience in purgatory is to see this great suffering that these people are going through. I would like to tell you it is horrible as I see it.

#199 August 25, 1993 3:35 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, conversion from sin is rooted in Christ's death on the Cross. He offered Himself in sacrifice in order to save us from sin, original and personal, from Satan's attempts to draw us into his rebellion from God and ultimately from eternal loss in hell. Apart from Jesus Christ, His Cross and sanctifying grace, each of us would be lost both in this world and in the next. The Church rejoices in the assertion that there is no salvation in anyone else, for there is no other name in the whole world given to men by which we are to be saved. God loves our race so much that in Jesus He offers every human being the grace of conversion. Although grace is offered to all, each individual must personally accept the gift and make it his own. For the adult, grace is received through faith and baptism. Those who are fortunate enough to be baptized as infants receive my Son's grace long before they are conscious of it. Faith, hope and charity, planted in the soul at baptism, are then nurtured by the example and instruction received at home and in the parish community. Through grace a person believes the Word of God and consents to do all the Word commands. Grace elicits an act of the intellect, that is, assent to the revealed word and a twofold movement of the will: a movement against sin in all its forms and a movement towards God in love. Conversion is a lifelong project. The first step involves the rejection, often painful, of mortal sin. Sin is addictive and makes its way into your lives, so to speak, on horseback and leaves slowly, reluctantly, and on foot. Then comes the rooting out of venial sin and all attachment to sin. Finally the Christian seeks to imitate Christ's poverty (detachment from material things), chastity and obedience to the will of the Father. To the degree that the Christian freely practices these evangelical counsels according to his state in life, obstacles are removed to the perfection of charity. Don't attempt this on your own. Seek the help of an experienced priest. Voluntary self-denial, penance, mortification etc., is necessary if one is to attain that mastery of self, necessary to keep the Commandments and practice charity. The message of Fatima urges us to practice voluntary penance not only for our own sins but in reparation for the sins of others. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.
