The Incident was Emanuel Gerard's first feature film released in 1967. Directed by Larry Peerce, this film featured debut performances from Martin Sheen, Beau Bridges, and Tony Musante. These photos document the construction and painstaking reproduction of an actual subway car based on original photos from The St. Louis Car Company. Note the ingenious cutaway design which allowed for filming from all possible angles. |
