Hello
and welcome to Terra Graphica, my little home on the web. Terra Graphica
is devoted to computer generated images created with Bryce, Poser, and
Photoshop.
On
the menu above, the Misc. link includes updates and a short bio.
Galleries
leads
to People and Places, Landscape, and Experimental galleries. Downloads
leads to Bryce freebies including meshes, materials, and plants.
Choose the Tutorial link to learn how to create a bouquet of flowers
in Bryce. Bryce, Photoshop, Poser, and other links can be found on
the links page.
A
little about my favorite software:
Bryce,
from Corel,
is used to create natural and abstract worlds, landscapes, and whatever
else an imagination will allow. Bryce is entertaining and easy to
use; I encourage anyone interested to give it a try. As far as graphics
programs go, Bryce is relatively inexpensive at about $299 (at Atomic
Park, Bryce sells for $259 including shipping). Be careful, though,
Bryce can be addictive. If you'd like to try Bryce before buying, stop
by the Corel web site and download the demo.
Poser,
from
Curious Labs, is a 3D character
design tool. I use it to add human and animal figures to my Bryce
images. Poser is currently priced at about $219.
Photoshop,
from
Adobe, is a professional
image editing tool. At about $600, it is also expensive. Paint
Shop Pro, from Jasc, is a very affordable
alternative with similar results.
