Return to Qwest Pioneers

Volunteering opportunities for active employees, those retired from the telephone industry and their friends. Links from this page highlight some of the activities and projects that we are involved in.   Each link endeavors to explain what we are doing and the accomplishments that we have made.  In some of them there are requests for help and information about how you can get involved.        Treasure Valley Combined Club

I would like to thank Rose Webster, our outgoing president for the outstanding job she did this year.  I will try to do as well.

As your new 2007 Treasure Valley club President, I am looking forward to a very productive year.  We also have a new Vice-President, Joe Switzer, who is an active employee.  I think together, we can get more of the active people involved in projects.  Projects that will be of interest to them.  The Pioneer organization is made up of dedicated, talented members and we want to utilize all those talents.
While we are a volunteer organization, volunteering hundreds of hours in the community annually, we don't want to forget the social aspect of the organization.  I urge all our members to attend our monthly luncheons, held at the Eagles lodge this year, our steak fry, at municipal park and our picnic in Ontario, Oregon.

I look forward to seeing and visiting with everyone.
Don't forget--if you have any ideas about what we could do differently, or if you have a problem with anything we are doing, don't hesitate to call me. …….Shirley Moss
