An organization founded in 1976 with approximately 1,400 active stock brokers, analysts, money managers and financial consultants in the New York Metropolitan area from southern Connecticut to southern New Jersey.
Meetings are held Tuesdays and/or Thursdays year-round in the heart of the Wall Street district.
To date more than 400 public companies--both listed and over-the-counter--have made presentations.

MEETINGS: Held Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at
Harry's at Hanover Square. 4 Hanover
Square, New York, NY 10005.
FORMAT: Meetings are held afer the close of
the market. From 4:15 to 4:45 pm,
cocktails and canapes. Meeting
begins at 4:45 pm, including
company presentation and question-
and-answer period. Bar and buffet
follows adjournment of meeting.
SCHEDULING: Preferably at least 45 to 60 days
in advance of the first of the month
of the meeting to permit sufficient
time to prepare programs and notifi
cation to members.
ATTENDANCE: Average attendance is between 35 and
75 members (and has reached 150 to
200) depending upon size and type of
company and other characteristics.
MEMBERSHIP: Approximately 1,400 registered repre
sentatives, analysts, money managers
and other members of the New York
Investment Community.
COSTS: The New York Stock Brokers Club bills
$1,000 (plus sales tax) in advance to
cover the costs of scheduling
the meeting, printing and mailing of
the program to members.
In addition, a $2,000 deposit is re
quired to cover the cost of the cock
tail-buffet preceding and following
the meeting. Refunds are sent promptly
following the meeting for any amount
billed below the deposit. If attend
ance exeeds average, amount above de
posit is billed. Based on averages,
this cost should be about $1,000 to
$1,500.
AUDIO-VISUAL AIDS: 35 mm carousel projector, screens,
public address system or other equip
ment can be arranged for if requested
in advance.
INFORMATION TO BE DISTRIBUTED AT THE MEETING: Informational kits, including Annual
and Interim Reports should be distri
buted at the meeting for the informa
tion of the members. Material should
