Sears Point ---------January 14-15, 2006 Field Trip
Sears Point field trip summary
A total of 20 people from the Phoenix and Desert Foothills chapters of AAS took part, with 19 participating on the first day (1/14/2006) for a 4 mile loop hike including petroglyphs, rock alignments, aboriginal trails and historic inscriptions. 8 people camped overnight, 6 of those 8 hiked the next day with another member who arrived on Sunday. The Sunday hike covered 5.5 miles to see petroglyphs, many trails and rock alignments, and a small lithic assembly.
