the clothing seen here, are custom made and reproduced down to every last detail

I believe that in order to achieve truly artistic designs,
one must know the entire process-from design to assembly, which I have mastered.
I designed a red Velvet gown worn by a close associate of the First Lady, Laura Bush, to the
Inauguration on January 17, 2006

Known as "Lady Carolyn" to many an audience for her "Genteel Disrobing"
She has entertained many from the Governors Mansion, Bed & Breakfasts, museums
state fairs, private parties, casinos, fashion shows
charity groups etc. Her performance includes disrobing down to her Chemise and drawers
all the while explaining in her casual wit little known facts about the clothing and accessories
worn in 1860.

Known as "Lady Carpenter"
Maridy has established herself as a self disiplined seamstress and has taught herself
all the sewing basics of making fine replica Victorian & Renaissance ensembles
including the one she's wearing
She has told me
"If you have the pattern, I can make it for you".
