A Few of My Favorite People and Things:

God, my family, my friends, school, and Tae Kwon Do.

This picture was on the cover of my favorite book when I was a kid!

My Favorite Tae Kwon Do things:

Favorite Kicks: Tornado, turning hook, double back kick, multiple roundhouse (A.K.A. "Russian Dance").
Favorite Color Belt Form: Tae Keuk Pahl Jang (high red belt form).
Favorite Black Belt Form: Koryo.
Favorite Tournament: Black Belt USA International Championships.

This is "Rosie the Riveter".  Back during World War II, women had to work factory jobs that their husbands, fathers, brothers, and sons left behind to fight in the war.  This poster was made to provide encouragement for the many women entering the workforce.  I think it's a cool poster!

Hobbies Other Than Tae Kwon Do:

There's more than Tae Kwon Do????  ;-)

Jogging, playing softball, watching sports (especially football), going to movies, drawing, painting, computer graphics, websites, and listening to music -- especially the O.C. Supertones!.  My absolute FAVORITE thing to do is drive with the music turned up and the windows down.

I like Christian music.  My favorite music groups are The O.C. Supertones (duh), Third Day, DC Talk, Stacy Orrico, Rebecca St. James, Toby Mack, and Michael Tait.

Click here to read about the Supertones!!

I like to work out to techno music like Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, Photek, and Kodo.

When I'm stressed out, I'll listen to loud, youthful groups like The O.C. Supertones, Good Charlotte and Simple Plan.

When I need to concentrate, Mozart comes to my rescue.

I also enjoy R&B, rap, and classic jazz vocals (especially Ella Fitzgerald).

I don't know why I like so many kinds of music.  I guess I'm just strange!

I also LOVE playing Playstation 2. My favorite games are "Final Fantasy X", "Virtual Fighter 4", "Tekken 4", and "John Madden 2002".

I also like to read.  I've just finished reading the entire Harry Potter series, and it was the most imaginatively stimulating work I've EVER read in my life.  Very cool!  My favorite book will always be the Bible, though.  I have alot of favorite verses!  They start at Genesis 1:1 and end at Revelation 22:21  :-)

I also like movies.  I've been told that I'm a dead ringer for Trinity in "The Matrix".  What do you think?

What I Do:

I'm a TOTAL NERD!!!  I'm a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, majoring in Marketing.  I'm also a member of Golden Key International Honors Society, Phi Kappa Phi International Honors Society, Sigma Iota Epsilon International Honors Society and Business Fraternity, and Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society.

I am also a Tae Kwon Do instructor at Black Belt USA Martial Arts Academy in Charlotte, NC.
I have been training there for 12 years with my instructors, Master Dan King and Dr. Ying King.

I'm currently working with a professor on a marketing research project at UNCC.  I really enjoy doing the research.  I plan to get a PhD in marketing, so that I can be a marketing professor someday.

This is what I tell myself when in uncomfortable situations.

Where You'll Find Me on Any Given Saturday Night:

Either doing homework or sleeping.
Most likely, I'll be catching up on lost sleep.

My Ultimate Goal in Life:

To become the person that God wants me to be.

Most Influential People in My Life:

Jesus Christ, my Mom & Dad, and the Kings.

This was when I tested for deputy black belt.
Master Dan King is on the left, and Dr. Ying King is on the right.
