No. of years here - 20 (Kent County?? which could mean they came straight to Kent Co., MI from Germany)

Marriage license shows Anthony's name as "Anton", birthplace as "Germany/Europe" and his occupation at the time of marriage as "Woodcarver". He married 21-Feb-1889 Anna THEILE, born Germany/Europe to parents: Joseph THEILE and Elizabeth BETTE. Priest performing marriage was Joseph Schwick, Rector (St. Mary's Catholic Church). Witnesses were Joseph Theile and Anna Theile, both of Kent County, MI.

Certificate of Death shows date of death 02-Mar-1919, age 54 years, 11 months, 21 days, place of death Kent County, MI., birthplace "Germany/Europe", his occupation at the time of death was "Carver" and cause of death "Tuberculosis". Parents were listed as Ferdinand SCHULTE and Elizabeth "BRUCHMAN" (BRUCHMANN), both of Germany/Europe.

Alt Mortuary lists given name as "Anton", funeral at St. Mary's Church, worked at Widdicomb Furniture Co. for 38 years and resided at 539 Pine Ave., N.W.

In the 1882-83 Grand Rapids City Directory "Antony" SCHULTE is listed as laborer and boards at 169 4th, w.s. (West Side).

In the 1885-86 G.R. City Directory Anthony SCHULTE is listed as Carver, Widdicomb Furniture Co., and boards at 36 1st, w.s. (West Side).
