...being some chronicles relating to what I do for money in this world...
"I don't want to work away doing just what they all say "work hard boy and you'll find one day you'll have a job like mine" 'cause I know for sure nobody should be that poor to say yes or sink low because you happen to say so, say so, you say so" ~ Cat Stevens ~ it would be so nice if there was time to write about all the little things cuz that's what's important (sharing all the little things) and then when someone came along who wanted to share all the little things I'd already be in the habit of sharing all the little things and we could (share all the little things) J lately there's work, work, and more work... though not as many hours as I packed into 1999 (though a higher salary, so almost as much money... but a lot more spending due to more needy contacts now), there's much less writing time because I have no home base phone line or writing space... I am beginning to realize just how much I miss (and want) my private writing space and time... absence makes the heart grow more aware of what it wants... and in the worklife, everything changes and still stays the same... the powers that be are re-organizing our schedule every week, which makes maintaining order and a positive program (not to mention attidude) much more challenging (which is, of course, the opposite of the intent of developing a new program schedule, but they know that)... but that is usually what happens when people who do not know what is going on attempt to run and control what is going on... basically they want us to put more therapy and organized activity into the weekend than there is during the week... during the week there is about twice as many staff present, including the professional therapists, teachers, and administrators... on the weekend, there are no teachers, therapists, or administrators and less than half the total staff... so to sum it up, the powers that be want us to do on the weekends what the professionals during the week can not seem to do with twice the staff... isn't that special J so anyway, that's worklife for now... more when there's more time...
